Cashew Trail is an annual event that was conceptualized by Park Hyatt Goa Resort and Spa in association with Madame Rosa Distillery in 2012. This event was curated to showcase the legacy of the fruit of Goa – the cashew in its many forms and manifestations to the global audience so as to create another rare and unique Park Hyatt experience.
During the cashew trail festivities, we organised an exclusive excursion to the Madam Rosa Cashew Farm in Valpoi where the guests toured the farm and experienced the cashew fruit picking and saw the feni distillation process.
After the farm we reached the Spice Plantation in Savoy where a delectable goan lunch made with ingredients grown at the farm awaited us. A walk of the spice plantation to see and smell the aromas and scents of nature followed the sumptuous home-style lunch. A trip to the cashew factory was the last stop where we saw the traditional method of cashew nut being made ready to eat.
