Each ingredient in this margarita moment was selected because they are very delectable, yet cohesive. This cocktail is an unexpected pairing of herbaceous, smoky, spicy, and tart flavors, while having a surprisingly smooth finish. The name of this cocktail reflects the Green Flash that we are so lucky to view from our oceanfront office.(Beach Tree!) A green flash is an optical phenomena when the sun hits the horizon that all of our guests try to witness each evening. Just as the Green Flash collects everyone’s attention during sunset, this margarita moment is sure to be a hit!

• 5 – 7 Basil leaves from our Resort Garden
• 1 oz. Fresh Lime juice
• ¼ slice Hawaiian Jalapeno
• 1 oz. Crème of Coconut
• 1 oz. Water
• 1.5 oz. Patron Silver
• 0.75 oz. Grand Marnier
• Garnish
• 1 Basil Leaf
• ¼ slice Hawaiian Jalapeno
• Lemon Twist

Add basil, jalapeno, lime, crème of coconut, and water in a blender and blend till smooth.
In a Boston shaker, add ice, Patron Silver Tequila, and Grand Marnier. Add the blended mixture, cover, and shake for 10 seconds. Pour over ice into a tropical glass.
Garnish with basil, jalapeno slice, and a lemon twist.
